KEY INGREDIENTS:

Vitamin B5: Panthenol (provitamin B5) is a key ingredient used in some La Roche-Posay formulas to help the skin feel soothed and moisturized.
Shea Butter: Sustainably sourced in Burkina Faso. Formulas with shea butter help restore the skin's hydrolipidic film and help skin feel soothed.
Glycerin: Derived from vegetable sources, it's an excellent humectant. It helps hydrate skin by absorbing water from the surrounding environment.
Dimethicone: A silicone-based polymer used as a skin protectant to help reduce water loss. It is one of the core ingredients in Cicaplast Balm B5 to help protect chapped, cracked, and chafed skin.

I went out on a whip to try this moisturizer and OMG I LOVEEE it.I have dry/combo skin but EXTRA DRY during these winter months,this has kept me moisturized during these nights with its light consistency and feeling on my skin but I realized I wouldn’t be able to use it in my AM skincare because it feels a bit oily during the day.

I thought because it was a thicker moisturizer that says “repair” it would be good for a day when my skin is particularly dry. It wasn’t. It is actually worse than a grocery store brand. And it’s so thick that you can’t really re-apply. I probably won’t even use the rest of the tube. And I live in California, where the weather isn’t that dry or cold. And my skin is pretty normal.

I’ve used this on my face at night and carry it in my purse for my hands. My youngest son has an issue with dry skin on his hands and this repaired his moisture barrier almost overnight. I’ll definitely be purchasing again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by chimmy from SO SLAY this is the first time i’ve used a product that’s actually worked for me. although this isn’t technically for acne, i have combination acne prone skin and this clears and heals my skin SO QUICKLY. it brings acne cysts to a head overnight not even exaggerating this is the best skincare product i’ve ever bought. only downside is that when you think there’s no more product in the tube there’s actually like a week+ left of product so cut the tube open!

This product is so moisturizing and has helped rebuild my skin barrier! It is a little thick, so i put them on my fingers to lather it up before putting it on my skin. There is also a slight whitecast left over, but goes away after a while.

It looks glassier and has one color to it. I recommend only using a little since it is a very thick consistency, and avoid the under eyes because it is thick. This is why I mostly use it with other moisturizers that aren’t thick so that I can apply it to the rest of my face along with my under eyes. Great product, definitely recommend!
