KEY INGREDIENTS

Cell-Ox Shield® Technology: A key antioxidant technology in the Anthelios sun care range. It combines photostable UVA/UVB filters to deliver broad spectrum protection and powerful antioxidant protection. With Senna Alata, a tropical leaf extract known to defend skin cells in the upper layer of skin against damaging free radicals caused by the sun.
Vitamin E:Tocopheryl acetate is a synthetic, more stable form of vitamin E. It has antioxidant properties to help neutralize damaging free radicals.
Perlite: A powder derived from volcanic rock. It is able to absorb water or oil and is known to provide a matte finish on skin.
Silica: A type of powder with a spherical bead shape that provides a silky feel and soft focus effect. It is lightweight and is able to absorb a significant amount of oil from skin.

Step 1: Apply generously 15 minutes before sun exposure.

Rated 4 out of 5 by bbynatey from Very Solid Every-Day Sunscreen Overall, this sunscreen is very good. It is not oily at all, and it applies very evenly and smooth. I have not experienced any white cast/pilling when using this product either. It does not burn around the eyes. I also have not gotten any sort of sunburn/sun spots while wearing this product on my face. My only gripe with this product is how small it is. Because of its pretty high price for the small amount you get, I am inclined to keep trying other sunscreens out there that may be more affordable for a student like me. However, if I unable to find better, I will definitely come back to this because it performed very well and exceeded my expectations.

I'd recommend dotting around the face in key areas such as temples, forehead, cheekbones, under eyes, nose chin and jaw. Then quickly you'll need to pull the sunscreen around your face with minimal contact. Once the sunscreen goes transparent you have to stop handling it until it dries completely, or else it will start to pebble and peel off. Once it's fully dry my skin feels glowy and smooth. I've tried other face sunscreens in the past, but this is only the second one that hasn't caused me to breakout. I'd repurchase this product and will continue to use it going forward.

This product did help with my oiliness and in deed felt great on but after a few uses, I noticed it would start to pill and started to struggle with it. I would let my skincare dry and absorb then add the sunscreen but it didn’t help either. It didn’t help that it would pill off when I applied my makeup at least 17 minutes later. Overall, it was a great at first but left me a bit disappointed after a few weeks.

I tried it with many different moisturizers and the result is always the same — my face is all covered in white flakes. Maybe spf is good but I guess I’ll never know since I have to wash it off my face every time I try to give it one more chance. I do not have that problem with other sunscreens from this brand

Fragrance free for those who are sensitive to scented skincare like me. However, it does dry out really quick so I cant apply it all over my face at once because it will dry out and leave white chunk of products on my skin. So I have to apply it by one section at a time: left cheek - right cheek - forehead - chin and nose. Other than that, it’s a great sunscreen. .

I live in Southern California, where we always have to be aware of sun exposure. This is one of the few gentle face high SPF lotions available on the market which does not contain Oxybenzone. For the rest of the exposed parts of my body I typically use something that is not quite as light, or expensive, like Anthelios Melt-In Milk Sunscreen for Face & Body SPF 100.

I love that it is 60 SPF because I am very sun sensitive. Plus this is UVA + UVB protection. The product melts into skin, drying smooth and matte so it's perfect for my oily skin.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Annmk from Soft touch feel I tend to have normal maybe even leaning dry skin. So first of all, my bad for buying this when it's geared more towards oily skin. Definitely feels mattifying or "soft touch" on the face once it is blended in, which is good that they are giving what they're advertising, but I have one issue. When I put it on yesterday, I put it on maybe an hour or two after I put my AM skincare on (face cleanser, adapalene gel, and The Ordinary's Moisturizing Factors + HA) and it seemed to go on fine and absorbed into the skin nicely.... But this morning, I put this on maybe 5 minutes or so after I did my morning skincare and boy oh boy did it BALL UP. I don't know if others have had issues with this product balling up and pilling too? I will most likely just continue to use this product up since I no longer have my receipt to return it, but it's annoying that I have to wait to put it on after my other products really absorb into my skin.

My face, forehead, cheeks, nose, neck were fire engine red. Looked like I had got sunburned. I wasn’t even in the sun. Face felt itchy, burning and still red the next few days.
