KEY INGREDIENTS

Cell-Ox Shield® Technology: A key antioxidant technology in the Anthelios sun care range. It combines photostable UVA/UVB filters to deliver broad spectrum protection and powerful antioxidant protection. With Senna Alata, a tropical leaf extract known to defend skin cells in the upper layer of skin against damaging free radicals caused by the sun.
Vitamin E: Tocopheryl acetate is a synthetic, more stable form of vitamin E. It has antioxidant properties to help neutralize damaging free radicals.
Dimethicone: A silicone-based polymer used as a skin protectant to help reduce water loss.
Glycerin: Derived from vegetable sources, it's an excellent humectant. It helps hydrate skin by absorbing water from the surrounding environment.
Vitamin B5: Panthenol (provitamin B5) is a key ingredient used in some La Roche-Posay formulas to help the skin feel soothed and moisturized.
Silica: A type of powder with a spherical bead shape that provides a silky feel and soft focus effect. It is lightweight and is able to absorb a significant amount of oil from skin.

I’m so pale I’ve even gotten burns while wearing sunscreen and reapplying every 90 minutes. I avoid the sun as much as possibly. I recently was a bridesmaid in an outdoor wedding. I willing to sacrifice my complexion for the bride but hoped it could be avoided. I wore this all day, reapplied once, and didn’t burn! I was actually shocked. I’ve tried many sunscreens in the past and this one delivers the most protection. I was equally impressed by the lack of transfer onto my corsage and pastel dress! The product has the typical sunscreen glisten and I felt like I was wearing a sunscreen, however it didn’t feel sticky and there was no oil transfer. There was a bit of pilling when I applied make up over the product with my fingers, but there was less when I used my sponge applicator. This has become my new everyday sunscreen for my body. However because I want a more matte look for my face most of the time, I prefer to use the ultralight fluid on my face for daily wear. However when I’m in settings where I’ll be in the sun for long periods of time, this offers the best protection.

It's thick and white, but it melts in and doesn't feel too oily (it's sunscreen so it's going to be a little oily). I wear it under my foundation and it doesn't leave my skin looking shiny. After a recent scare with skin cancer on my pale face, despite always wearing other sunscreens, my dermatologist encouraged me to try this stuff and wear it every single day and I'm so glad she did.

In the morning, since I use La Roche Posay's Adapalene 0.1% at night, I go straight to applying this sunscreen. I reapply it every 2-3 hours, even indoors. This stuff is amazing and my skin love it. No white-cast, does cause me to breakout at all (I have combination skin), and doesn't feel like I'm rubbing oil all over my face.

It’ does nit leave a white cast bc I think it’s a combo of chemical and mineral sunscreens. I’m 56 yo and this leaves me a shiny face not in a good way. I apply this sun screen on top of my moisturizer. I wear a tiinted SPF skin tint on top of the sunscreen. I do not see my face with any powder afterwards.

I have been using for seven weeks now on clean skin first thing in the morn, and give my face time to "drink" it while I finish dressing. I've tried the SPF 60 version of their Anthelios MIM sunscreen, which was extremely that, but for some reason, the 100 SPF goes on much smoother, doesn't leave a white cast, and doesn't look streaky/powdery even after 4-5 applications, and doesn't make my skin look and feel really greasy by the end of the day. I don't know if it's the higher SPF that's making the difference, but I like it, and bonus on how it's travel friendly! I'll definitely re-purchase this one and I highly recommend it!
