Mineral SPF moisturizer with hyaluronic acid provides 12-hour hydration and helps reduce signs of premature skin aging caused by the sun*. This mineral sunscreen for face is formulated with Cell-Ox Shield® Technology: broad spectrum UVA/UVB protection with antioxidants. Suitable for normal, oily, dry, combination skin types. KEY INGREDIENTS:
Cell-Ox Shield® Technology: A key antioxidant technology in the Anthelios sun care range. It combines photostable UVA/UVB filters to deliver broad spectrum protection and powerful antioxidant protection. With Senna Alata, a tropical leaf extract known to defend skin cells in the upper layer of skin against damaging free radicals caused by the sun.Vitamin E : Tocopheryl acetate is a synthetic, more stable form of vitamin E. It has antioxidant properties to help neutralize damaging free radicals.
Glycerin: Derived from vegetable sources, it's an excellent humectant. It helps hydrate skin by absorbing water from the surrounding environment.
Hyaluronic Acid (HA): A polysaccharide (carbohydrate polymer) found naturally within the skin. When used in a formula, HA is an effective humectant that can hold a large amount of water to help maintain the skin's moisture.
Vitamin B5: Panthenol (provitamin B5) is a key ingredient used in some La Roche-Posay formulas to help the skin feel soothed and moisturized.
Lipo-Hydroxy Acid (LHA): Also known as LHA, it's a derivative of salicylic acid, and has exfoliating and skin surface renewing properties.
Zinc Oxide: Also known as a physical or inorganic sunscreen filter and is often recommended for sensitive skin types. It forms a barrier on the skin's surface to reflect and scatter a wide spectrum of UV light, including UVA and UVB rays.
Titanium Dioxide: Also known as a physical or inorganic sunscreen filter and is often recommended for sensitive skin types. It forms a barrier on the skin's surface to help protect against both UVA and UVB rays.
Dimethicone: A silicone-based polymer used as a skin protectant to help reduce water loss.
Silica: A type of powder with a spherical bead shape that provides a silky feel and soft focus effect. It is lightweight and is able to absorb a significant amount of oil from skin.

Step 1: Apply generously 15 minutes before sun exposure..
Step 2: Reapply at least every 2 hours.
Step 3: Use a water resistant sunscreen if swimming or sweating.
Step 4: If used with other skincare products, use as a last step in regimen. Can be used alone or under makeup.
Sun Protection Measures: read back of packaging. Children under 6 months of age: ask a doctor.
TIP: 100% mineral filter sunscreens are formulated only using Titanium Dioxide and/or Zinc Oxide as the active ingredients. These mineral actives are opaque powders, so a 100% mineral sunscreen can leave an ashy, purple or white cast on some skin tones. To help the formula blend into the skin, dispense onto fingers and warm in circular motion, apply onto skin in small sections. Rub well until the formula is no longer visible. You can also layer with your favorite foundation.

Very thick and uncomfortable
This sunscreen makes my face feel super sticky, even when my skin is dry from the winter air. I can only imagine how uncomfortable it must be in the summer. The formulation is very thick and non spreadable. It is thicker than your standard lotion. I can only tolerate wearing it for a few hours before I have to take it off. Maybe I will use it on my shoulders in the summer.
No smell, though.

More Like Sunscreen Than Moisturizer
For me, this product isn’t the best. I have found that the SPF gives the moisturizer a white tint, which is evident when applied, and it takes a while to soak into my skin and disappear. I had previously purchased a bottle of hyaluronic acid, so I add that to Anthelios moisturizer so that it goes on smoother and blends better. Now that we are getting into the colder months, I will switch back to my Toleriane Ultra Moisturizing day and night creams, they both are the best I’ve tried for dry skin.

Sun screen
Not a fan. Just my opinion. I am not a fan of sun screens, period. Others who use them on a regular. Might really enjoy it. It didn’t damage my skin at all. Just will not use and wasted my money.

Best spf I’ve ever used, plus it’s moisturizing. I use dr. Jart tiger grass cream, then layer it with this before applying my makeup. I let it sit for 20 minutes before putting on any foundation because it does leave a white cast initially. But it does go away. This one never irritates my sensitive skin. Never causes breakouts or anything like that and isn’t greasy feeling like many others I’ve tried. Overall, I love it and will continue to use it.

Great product!
Loved this product! I did find it to have a bit of an white cast from being a mineral based sunscreen. However if you blend with a beauty blender it blends beautifully so there is no white cast & has a smooth finish! I’d recommend to others as a great option!

Great moisture & sun protection, white cast
I use this every day, but I have to mix it with bronzing drops or foundation due to its white-cast. It smells more like lotion than sunscreen and it’s not too thick. I would buy it again, but considering you have to mix it, there may be better options out there if you’re looking for a one-step product.

I like this SPF
I like this SPF moisturizer. I feel protected while out in the sun. However, It was not moisturizing at all and had to use a separate face cream. It is a good SPF protectant, but not sure if this should be labeled as a moisturizer also. I have combo skin, so maybe some on the more oily side this could do it, but I use this alongside a separate moisturizer. I received this complimentary from Influenster

This sunscreen is pretty
This sunscreen is pretty good! It is a little heavy and greasy for my already oily skin. I love it for pool days when I do not worry about my skins appearance but I’m not a fan of it every day or under makeup, because it’s too oily and shiny!
