Cell-Ox Shield® Technology: A key antioxidant technology in the Anthelios sun care range. It combines photostable UVA/UVB filters to deliver broad spectrum protection and powerful antioxidant protection. With Senna Alata, a tropical leaf extract known to defend skin cells in the upper layer of skin against damaging free radicals caused by the sun.Vitamin E: Tocopheryl acetate is a synthetic, more stable form of vitamin E. It has antioxidant properties to help neutralize damaging free radicals.
Lipo-Hydroxy Acid (LHA): Also known as LHA, it's a derivative of salicylic acid, and has exfoliating and skin surface renewing properties.
Zinc Oxide: Also known as a physical or inorganic sunscreen filter and is often recommended for sensitive skin types. It forms a barrier on the skin's surface to reflect and scatter a wide spectrum of UV light, including UVA and UVB rays.
Titanium Dioxide: Also known as a physical or inorganic sunscreen filter and is often recommended for sensitive skin types. It forms a barrier on the skin's surface to help protect against both UVA and UVB rays.
Silica: A type of powder with a spherical bead shape that provides a silky feel and soft focus effect. It is lightweight and is able to absorb a significant amount of oil from skin.

Step 1: Apply generously 15 minutes before sun exposure.
Step 2: Reapply: After 80 minutes of swimming or sweating, immediately after towel drying, at least every 2 hours.
Sun Protection Measures: read back of packaging. Children under 6 months of age: ask a doctor.
TIP: 100% mineral filter sunscreens are formulated only using Titanium Dioxide and/or Zinc Oxide as the active ingredients. These mineral actives are opaque powders, so a 100% mineral sunscreen can leave an ashy, purple or white cast on some skin tones. To help the formula blend into the skin, dispense onto fingers and warm in circular motion, apply onto skin in small sections. Rub well until the formula is no longer visible.

I love this sunscreen and the whitecast
La Roche Posay is well known in the skincare world as a dermatologist tested, allergy tested company. I bought this particular sunscreen because I was looking for a mineral sunscreen for sensitive skin with high Zinc oxide percentage and NO silicone in the ingredients list. I love how the product spread so effortlessly, no gritty, clumps, just smooth like butter on my skin. I like having a white cast and to be honest that blends in and disappears on my skin after a couple hours. Its the only sunscreen that did not break me out. I feel very confident in this product that it protects me against daily UVA/UVB. My skin is getting better overtime since I have been using it for about a month now. I was a daily sun worshipper in my teenage years and now Im trying to reverse the severe damage.
Please dont ever discontinue this as I love this product. Im already stocking up because Im scared they will change the formula in the future.

Great Suncreen
I have combination skin that tends to be more on the oily side during the summer season. My skin is also prone to breakouts. I have tried so many sunscreens, even ones specifically made for my skin type. This has been the only sunscreen that I have found so far that does not make me more oily or cause breakouts. I love that it is for the body and face. It is gentle as it claims. A little goes a long way. Although the lotion comes out thick and white, it blends in completely and still leaves my skin feeling well protected. Worth every penny and would most likely be good for all skin types.

Really happy with this sunscreen.
This sunscreen really does dry to a nice powder finish. It feels great. Not heavy at all and it doesn’t make my skin look or feel greasy or shiny. Apply it to a small portion of skin at a time and gently rub in until it doesn’t look white anymore and it leaves your skin looking natural and feeling great, albeit a slight bit lighter in color, but not like a mask.

Terrible Casper look.
So frustrated that left my face looking like a ghost! I tried to use a small amount and still looks bad. My eyebrow was completely white. I was just looking for a good sunscreen and end up with a terrible result.

It is a my real sunscreen and applies easily which I liked. What I didn’t like and took 2 stars off is that it made me look like Casper the friendly ghost lol. I have light olive skin and it didn’t work for me. If you have porcelain white skin it will work for you.

Save your money and the aggravation
This will leave you looking like a ghost. I only used a little bit following the comments of others that it form and white cast and it’s true. I’m going back to the store for my money. Don’t buy this! I was extremely disappointed as I’m a new fan of many others LRP products.

Slight white cast, moisturizing, protective.
It does leave somewhat of a white cast, but it settles on your skin as times goes by. For reference, I am Hispanic and have medium tone skin. I use the sunscreen on my face and it feels moisturizing and not oily. A little definitely goes a long way!

This is one of my go to sunscreens. It can be used on both your face & body. It is dermatologist recommended & non irritating. It comes out white but fades into a clear application once you rub it in. I like that it doesn’t feel too heavy. Plus it is works well with my skin type. This is a staple in my skin care stash. I bought this sunscreen 3 years ago with my colleague's recommendation and although I had thought I liked it, now I realize that I shouldn't have. First, white cast is just crazy, no matter how much I warm it up in my hand, it doesn't work for me + it gets even worse once water touches it. Although I was satisfied with the protection and satin-like finish of it, it wasn't an easy application. For the price, I'd say there are more affordable and better sunscreens out there since it's a little too much for a drugstore brand.

My new favourite
Im mean yeah it has some kind of whitecast but it cancels out the redness on my face really well and dont have to usw that much foundation anymore. It won't stay super white and shiny. After 5-10 minutes it dries down a bit more translucent and matte. When you're on the paler and more oily side i find it works pretty well.

Great mineral amounts!
My Dermatologist recommended sunscreen with Zinc. This has 5% titanium and 15% Zinc. Very good sun blockage, not just screened! Rubs in clear. Smells fine. Affordable and will buy again due to ingredients! La Roche Posay Anthelios Body and Face Sunscreen Lotion - Spf 50 - 3.04 fl oz

I have been working really hard to remove the sun spots on my face and wanted a really good sunscreen to prevent any more. I was so disappointed when no matter what I did, it made my face look white. I can't go out in public looking like that. I so much wanted to love this sunscreen and instead I'm going to have to throw this expensive bottle in the trash. I have fair to medium tone skin.

If you have sensitive skin this is perfect. I burn easy on my face and this protects my face very well. It doesn't sting either which is a huge plus! I always wear SPF 50 or above on my face to prevent sun damage and wrinkles. The price is reasonable a well

Good Overall Sunscreen
Good overall sunscreen but you really have to work with it to blend it in. It has a bit of a white cast so I am not using it for my face, just my body. It’s non greasy and stays out even if you sweat.

Sunscreen- Gentle Lotion
As a member of Influenster I received this product for free in exchange for my honest review. I have heard of this brand before but never tried any of the products because they are too expensive for me. I was really excited when I was selected to try this sunscreen. I really like the high SPF because I have very fair skin. This product was very easy to apply. I am glad that this was the perfect consistency and did not leave a greasy feeling on my skin. This had a weird scent for being unscented.

I have received this Anthelios 50 Body Mineral Sunscreen 120ml complimentary.
I like this sunscreen. Especially because it’s mineral. It’s very difficult to made a mineral sunscreen compare to only chemical ones.
That’s why it leaves more whiter cast than a chemical ones. But it’s so much better protects the skin from the sun without chemicals.
That’s what I love about it.
It’s made with zinc and vitamin E. It’s oil free that’s why it might feel a little dryer.
I bought it for my upcoming trips, where I plan to do a lot of activities such as hiking and biking in a strong sun. So definitely I need this.La Roche-Posay Anthelios SPF 50 Gentle Lotion Mineral Sunscreen

I received this product for free from Influenster to try. I was skeptical when I first used this product. Its super thick and somewhat hard to blend in. It does however provide full protection from the sun. It takes some getting used to but now I use it everyday and would recommend it.

Decent Sunblock
The best part about this sunblock is definitely the high spf. I’ve been trying to incorporate higher than 35 in my skin routine so this is great. The texture is good and I prefer to put it on first after I wash my face and before the rest of my make up routine. However, I will say I’m not a fan of the white cast that, to me, takes quite a bit of effort to blend in. For that reason, I feel like I don’t like reaching for this sunscreen as often as I would despite it’s high protection. Other than that, no complaints!
