This toner for oily skin helps to remove excess oil and visibly reduce the look of pores. Formulated with micro-exfoliating lipo-hydroxy acid, this oily skin toner refines skin texture, and unblocks and tightens pores. Tested on acne-prone skin (non comedogenicity test).

Lipo-Hydroxy Acid: Also known as LHA, it's a derivative of salicylic acid, and has exfoliating and skin surface renewing properties.

La Roche-Posay Thermal Spring Water: A soothing water sourced in the town of La Roche-Posay in France and a core ingredient in most of our products. It contains a unique combination of minerals, trace elements, and a high concentration of selenium, a natural antioxidant.

Step 1: Dampen cotton pad with toner.

I have been using for a few months this product. I wash my face with a cleanser and then use this product and then use the effeclar sebo controler face cream.
I honestly didnt see any improvement in my pores (as it says in the product) or in my skin in general.
It does help clean the makeup that sometimes the makeup remover didnt.

Refreshing to my skin
I had never used toner before, so I didn’t know what to expect. My skin is oily and very sensitive, and prone to breakouts and redness. This didn’t seem to aggravate those problems. The breakouts haven’t stopped, but they do seem to be getting a little less. Same for the redness. My skin seems to be less oily as well. It is supposed to make your pores less visible, but I really haven’t noticed a big difference. The scent is not overwhelming, which is a good thing for anything going on my face. All in all, I give it a thumbs up!

I really enjoyed this toner!! Toner has always been a hit or miss product because they either don’t really do anything or they break me out.. however this was different!! My skin started clearing up after using it and I have now incorporated it into my daily routine!!
Not much in the way of cons, however I will say I also started using the Pixi glow tonic and I feel it worked just as well— so they’re pretty similar in my opinion!

Where have you been??
For starters I’ve never heard of this brand before and although I’m into skincare I usually take the more natural approach. But this product is definitely going to become a staple. This toner is not harsh and has a light scent. I’ve used this product without washing my face and then I used it in conjunction with washing my face and that was enough to convince me. Just to throw out there, my skin is sensitive but I’m not prone to breakouts and I have combination skin ( wearing mask has made my skin more oily than usual).

Favorite Part is the Smell
I have an oily forehead that can’t get rid of the shine no matter what. I’ve been using this lately in hopes that it’ll help. I haven’t seen a difference in how oily my skin is. However, I do have to wear a face shield so that might have an affect. The smell is amazing. Very nice and pleasant. It makes me want to keep using it. Hopefully I see a change soon.

I received the La Roche-Posay Effaclear toner for oily skin complimentary from Influenster and was really excited about it. I had been wanting to try this brand out. I can’t say that I have really noticed any visible changes with my skin since starting with this, but also, my skin has been going through it the last few weeks. I would say that this product is a little on the pricier side but it should last for a little while depending on how often you use it! I definitely will keep using this to see if it will help my skin in the future, and look forward to trying other products from this brand! Thanks Influenster and La Roche-Posay!

So far so good but don’t see much changes.
I have combination skin. Been using this every other night for the past 3 weeks after washing my face. Has a mild cooling effect and gets off the excess gunk that you may miss during washing your face. I’m not exactly sure if there’s any distinct change/improvement to my skin because it’s winter time where I live (I’m less prone to breaking out during this time). I don’t see much change in my pores, but only time will tell once I get out more once weather warms up.

Light & Refreshing
This is my first time using this product and I’ve been using this for a couple days now. The smell from the toner is a fresh, beach scent, which I really like! I did notice some changes to my sensitive skin, where some parts where a little red from trying out this new product. However, I think my skin adjusted to this product and it does even out the oils on my skin.

Amazing!
tighten pores without dehydration/stripping of skin, made sure to get the stubborn makeup out my pores, but i only used it directly on my pores because it irritated my already existing breakouts, would definitely recommend if you’re looking for something to minimize the appearance of your pores, if you have dry skin i recommend to use good hydrating moisturizer

Good quality
I didn’t know what to expect with this toner. I was pleasantly surprised after just one week. My skin is softer, my pores smaller and cleaner. My skin has not been as flakey in the winter months. Glad I was sent a full size so I will be able to enjoy for quite some time.

Very refreshing, and has a cooling affect when applied. Pores have shrunk and face is less oily. Even the next morning the face is still not oily, which past toners have burnt my skin and still left skin feeling sticky. Gentle around eye area.

Good but watch out sensitive skin
Overall, I really like this toner. I use after cleansing and it absorbs quickly - I felt my skin/pore tighten within minutes. It is somewhat harsh on moderately sensitive skin, but it definitely delivers on removing oil. I’ve started to alternate using this toner with my regular one (morning/evening) and I like the results. Overall a very good product (maybe a bit overpriced for those with moderately sensitive skin) - would definitely recommend.

It’s Drying
So I’ve been using this product for a couple of weeks and I’m not the biggest fan. It has alcohol in it which is drying for my skin. I prefer toners that aren’t so harsh. I think if they replaced the alcohol it could be a great product.

this is my first time using this product
i just received this product today, i did use it for the first time when i received it and it definitely did do something for me. my skin isn’t oily right now, and my pores are minimized, (not completely gone), however it does smell mainly like alcohol, which isn’t the best thing. but it’s not too big of a bother! i will continue to use this in my skin care routine.

great for sensitive skin!
I am so glad I got to try this product. At first I was confused by it being a moisturizer because the consistency is more like a toner but this product worked great as a moisturizer and left my skin feeling soft and hydrated. I also have very sensitive skin and this still worked great for me. I’m very glad I got to try it because i’ve never seen or used a product like this before!

This toner feels great. Not drying but not oily either. It’s the perfect medium. I have combo skin, not oily skin, so I feel as though this wasn’t necessarily a perfect match for me, but it was good for those oily days. Would recommend more for those with oily skin.

the scent of this toner is really delightful! not too strong but strong enough to make the odor of an oily face go away... the packaging is average, nothing schmancy. the only problem is that when I used it twice in one sitting, it made my face a little itchy. other than that, I've been using this for two days now & it removes the dirt residue that soap & water was not able to clean
