Effective and soft on my skin
I snagged this while on a trip to Mexico at a pharmacia and I’m so glad I did, this stuff is great. It strong enough to remove makeup, yet doesn’t irritate my sensitive skin. I do alternate it with a more mild cleanser, but this La Roche-Posay Effaclar Purifying Gel is my go-to when I need a truly deep clean.

Effaclar Facial cleanser
Its perfect for oily skin. I have suffered from acne since along time. Then my dermatologist prescribed my this facial cleanser. And i never stopped it since then. I am from egypt i used it there and i searched for it here in the US. until i found it on the website. I found it in cvs pharmacy too.
My recommendation, if you have an oily skin like mine . Is to use it daily once or twice a day depending on your skin needs, and apply la roche posay matte moisturizer afterwards.
Use a facial scrub once weekly. And use anthelios matte sunscreen for oily skin every day in the morning. And whatever serum you love before sleep like hyaluronic acid serum or vitamin c

I had a huge cystic acne breakout spanning at least a couple of months. I'm not sure what sparked it but I was so embarrassed and self conscious I've been avoiding going out. I'm an adult who has struggled with teenage acne but has worse hormonal acne as an adult. After using this face wash for a week I already noticed a significant improvement. Its been a month now and no more cystic acne. Some whiteheads still but that is lessening as well. I find it really does reduce inflammation so even those whiteheads that inevitably break heal very quickly. Cant reccomend this enough. I feel my sanity returning!

I did like this face wash, didn’t feel like it was stripping at all and my face didn’t feel my face dry at all. I just personally prefer other cleansers but I do recommend this for oily skin.

This Facewash - Must buy for Oily skin
This face wash is the best i could find out there. my skin is oily and sesnitive at the same time. I do get breakouts here and there randomly. With some redness on the face along with sensitive skin, finfing the right face washwash was a challenge. This is the best face wash, doesnt dry out my skin after the wash, skin feels clean, refreshed and supple. I love the clear gel texture of the facewash. If you talk about the price , its definatley worth it as it goes a long way. Value for money yes, and gentle to the skin. It doesnt irritates my skin after the wash and has mild fragrance. Afterusing this face wash for about 6 months i could feel the diffrence in my skin.

I am very picky
I am very picky about my face cleansers, and La Roche-Posay is one of my top favorites! I have it in my bathroom, as well as my guest bathroom. This is my daily cleaner - leaves my face feeling clean and refreshed and my skin always glows! I prefer the face wash over the gel if you’re debating on which one to purchase. Although for the great price, buy both and see what works best for you!

Why Fragrance?
Its a great cleanser against acne... but why Fragrance? Why? Like, the toleriane purifying cleanser isnt really the same for acne as it doesnt have the ZINC PCA or the SA... But at least it has no Fragrance. Why cant they make this one fragrance free?

SLS and Fragrance
I find it hard to believe that these products were made ny dermatologist. Any reputable dermatologist would knoe that SLS and fragrance isn't good for anyone's skin type. Also contains fragrance and denatured alcohol in other products by this brand. Hard pass.
