KEY INGREDIENTS
1.5% Salicylic Acid: Known for its effective exfoliating properties to help clear and refine the appearance of pores. An ideal choice for those concerned with clogged pores and oily skin.

Step 1: Shake well for even application.
Step 2: Apply the entire affected area with a thin layer after cleansing face. Do not rinse off. Start with one application daily, then gradually increase to two or three times daily if needed.
Step 3: In the daytime, apply daily sun protection.
Avoid eye area.
*Do not use on peeling or compromised skin. Avoid the eye contour and contact with eyes.

Works so well!!

Good serum
I instantly felt the effects of this. After just a few uses my skin was super soft and smooth. It didn’t clear up my acne right away but that’s something I think will come with time. I wasn’t using salicylic acid in my skin care routine before but may consider adding it!

Must have for acne
I saw results in less than a month. My skin texture improved, felt smooth. I recommend to anyone experiencing acne. My oily/ problematic skin started when I began taking birth control, if someone is experiencing the same thing this is a necessity to incorporate into your skin routine. I applied this once a day at night. I love their products, I was first introduced to this line working as a beauty consultant about 10 years ago.

I recently received the La Roche-Posay Effaclar Serum VoxBox from Influenster and La Roche-Posay for free in exchange for my honest review about their product, the La Roche-Posay Effaclar Salicylic Acid Serum.
I’ve never had bad acne… so when the occasional breakout happens I tend to just use spot treatments.
I tried the La Roche-Posay Effaclar Serum as a spot treatment and I saw results in about a week. Although I would have liked to see results sooner I did enjoy the product and will continue to use it.

This works!
I love this serum! It has done wonders for my skin that has acne scars. I’ve used it for 30 days straight and I see such an improvement in my scars. I can’t wait to keep using it and see how much more it does. I have dry skin and I thought it would dry my skin those areas but it didn’t! Definitely recommend

I received this free from influenster in exchange of my honest review. I have tried a few other La Roche Posay products before and was a fan of them so I was excited to try this. I have combination skin and get hormonal acne and this worked well for me. I had sone breakouts at first with my skin purging but then it cleared up. This didn’t feel drying to me. But I didn’t really like the smell, it kind of smelled similar to nail polish to me.. other than that this was a good product.

Nice serum with no dryness
I enjoyed testing this product. I love skincare and serums so I was very excited for this. My excitement was matched with the use of product. This is a great product and felt it worked well with my skin. I would use this a few times a week with my evening routine on dry skin. Apply, let it absorb, then layer my moisturizer on top. I felt that it helped with my pores and overall appearance of my skin and texture.

I absolutely loved this La Roche-Posay Effaclar Salicylic Acid Serum. A little bit goes a long way, the dropper makes application a breeze. I noticed a huge improvement in my skin with less breakouts and my pores are visibly smaller. It left my face feeling tight and smooth as well. The only problem I had was the smell, it was a little off putting to me. Overall I would highly recommend this.

Surprisingly Good

This is their Effaclar Face Serum that is a lightweight salicylic acid acne treatment serum that clears pimples and helps prevent acne. This can also visibly reduce pore size, fine lines and post-acne marks.
It's suitable for all skin types and is dermatologist tested. Complete with triple acid and niacinamide it's helps to soothe skin and minimize irritation.
I've been using this over the last few weeks everyday and I have had less breakouts then I normally do. It's lightweight and sinks into the skin super fast. It doesnt leave any weird residue and is also hydrating. This is one I will be keeping around in my routine! Affordable and worth it!

Not ideal packaging
I love the ingredients in this serum. It was not a miracle cure for acne, but my skin does feel nice. The scent can be storing at first, but I got used to it. It’s not perfumey but more medicinal. It can tingle a little, but wasn’t an issue for me. The serum is clear.
My main issue is with the price and packaging. It’s more expensive than I would peg for la roche posay. I also hate that it is in a dropper. 99% off products should either be in an airless pump, or a squeeze tube. This serum definitely should be in an airless pump. I’m almost at the end of my bottle and the dropper is practically useless.

Effective
I found this serum to be really effective. I started it slowly and moved on to daily eventually. If I was getting a little dry, I pulled back a bit and skipped a day or two. But this didn’t happen often. I found it to really help with texture which is one of my main concerns. When I did have a breakout sometimes, it helped to speed up the healing process without leaving a mark. Much more affordable than salon products and just as effective.

I received this product complimentary for honest reviews and would say the product is amazing with the ingredients and works best for acne prone skin but as my skin is already dry instead of moisturizing it drys it more on application. I would need some layer of moisture to cover.

I was looking forward to using this product because of the combination to reduce acne while still moisturizing with the niacinimide because I have acne but very dry skin. it’s a challenge finding products that work that won’t further dry me out. It helped with the acne but really dried my skin out. I mean like next day I had stressed out enlarged pores, tight skin that looked close to flaking. eh maybe i’ll use as a spot treatment but I’m a little disappointed. otherwise, the serum is a decent consistency not tacky. It is a little gooey at first but it blends without stickiness. the dropper is useful for application as well and there are no strong odors.

Light Weight Salicylic Acid Serum
This serum couldn’t have come at a better time. Lately my skin has been suffering from Acne and comedones. This serum is light weight enough for me to use everyday without causing serious dryness and irritation. It is fast absorbent but a little bit goes a long way. I like the packaging a lot. It’s glass and it includes a dropper to sure you don’t waste product. The scent is very light and I notice how my pimples dry completely when using this. However I keep breaking out so I won’t say this will completely keep your acne away but I’ll do a great job keeping it at bay. Highly recommend, especially for clogged pores and comedones.

La Roche-Posay serum
I was afraid this would either make my face super oily, burn my face or make my face break out worse but boy was I wrong. A little drop on each cheek and in the middle of my forehead and it covers my entire face. I only used once a day, after my shower ( I shower at night). It made my skin softer and I had less breakout and my current breakouts disappeared!
