KEY INGREDIENTS

Cell-Ox Shield® Technology: A key antioxidant technology in the Anthelios sun care range. It combines photostable UVA/UVB filters to deliver broad spectrum protection and powerful antioxidant protection. With Senna Alata, a tropical leaf extract known to defend skin cells in the upper layer of skin against damaging free radicals caused by the sun.
Vitamin C: Also known as L-ascorbic acid, this ingredient is commonly recommended by dermatologists. Within our formulas, this water-soluble vitamin is known for its antioxidant and visible anti-aging properties.
Dimethicone: A silicone-based polymer used as a skin protectant to help reduce water loss.
Vitamin E:Tocopheryl acetate is a synthetic, more stable form of vitamin E. It has antioxidant properties to help neutralize damaging free radicals.
Silica: A type of powder with a spherical bead shape that provides a silky feel and soft focus effect. It is lightweight and is able to absorb a significant amount of oil from skin.
La Roche-Posay Thermal Spring Water: A soothing water sourced in the town of La Roche-Posay in France and a core ingredient in most of our products. It contains a unique combination of minerals, trace elements, and a high concentration of selenium, a natural antioxidant.

Step 1: Apply generously 15 minutes before sun exposure.

I’m glad I accidentally bought La Roche-Posay Anthelios AOX Daily Antioxidant Serum! It’s also an SPF50 sunscreen! This serum has a light scent and absorbs into the skin well. It also protects against free radicals. The only downside is that it’s a little pricey.

I’ve tried every single LRP sunscreen option and this is the *only* one that doesn’t pill terribly and leave a white cast. I was kind of at the end of my rope with LRP sunscreens until I found this one. It’s a dream!! Goes on beautifully and super lightweight. Highly, highly recommend this :)

I give it 4 stars because it stings if it gets in my eyes from sweating or rubbing them. I do not apply it to my eye area, but it always gets into my eyes. I have also applied this over makeup without any issues.

My Skin changes right away when I apply it. You can see ir bright and moisturized on that exact moment. The product glides on so smooth. It keeps my skin feeling hydrated and not tacky at all. I have the most sensitive skin in the world even fragance free products sometimes irritate me, but not this one. Great product keep up the good work!!!!

Giving more time to see if there are any noticeable changes in skin tone/texture. Bought for the antioxidant and SPF properties versus having great expectations for the vitamin C specifically. Overall, I enjoy it. Goes on well and absorbs. No white tint after, so if that is a concern, you won't be disappointed.

As some other reviewers have noted, this does leave a rather shiny finish that's not what those of us who prefer matte want, but even if you're not wearing foundation you can top this with a pore-blurring or other matte moisturizer and voila! Effaclar Mat works well if your skin is not terribly dry.

It makes my skin so soft and offers a great base for me to put makeup on top of. The texture is very thin and light and does not dry out my skin. It does run out fast for me because I wear it everyday, but it is absolutely worth the price in my opinion.
