KEY INGREDIENTS:
Adapalene Gel 0.1% (Topical Retinoid): A topical retinoid medication used in Effaclar Adapalene for the treatment of acne. A synthetic molecule that mimics vitamin A, it works by regulating skin cell turnover to help remove and prevent dead skin from clogging pores. An ideal choice for those concerned with whiteheads and blackheads.

Step 1: To open the product, remove the cap and insert the opposite side of the cap into the foil. Push down on the cap and twist until the foil is punctured.
Step 2: After using a gentle cleanser, apply a pea sized amount all over the face once daily in the evening.
Step 3: Apply a moisturizer after use.
Step 4: Use with SPF daily

good product with sleek packaging
I think this product helped with my breakouts. It’s hard to tell what would have happened if I didn’t use anything but I did see improvements in my skin after use. Most importantly, it didn’t dry out my skin. The packaging was nice and slim and easy to use.

Takes time ?
I used this for a while. I know other reviewers said it takes time but for me it didn’t help my face. It made it worse. Maybe my face reacts funny to different face washes , creams, medicine but this didn’t help me at all.

Still Trying But So Far So Good!
I was so excited to receive this product to test for free along with a couple others from La Roche-Posay! My skin has been on a journey as my hormones have been all over the place, so I've had lots of acne to combat. I used to have a prescription adapalene product that I used to treat it, so I was excited and intrigued to see this product in very similar packaging and consistency. I'm still trying it out, but honestly, so far I can't really tell if it has done much to treat my acne. It gives me peace of mind when I apply it, because I know there are good ingredients in there, but as far as quick results, I really can't tell if it shortened the life of my acne or not. I wish I could, because I want to love all these products (and have some go tos when my face is breaking out đŸ˜…).

This one is my darling
First of all, it’s amazing be able to find an affordable OTC alternative treatment that actually works not only for acne. I started to use this one when decided introduce retinoids in my skincare routine and someone recommended this one for beginners. Overall this product changed my skin for the better. I didn’t have any problem with dryness on my face but I guess this goes for different types of skin. It’s better to start one a week and then progressing. I like to pair it with the Toleriane Ultra Soothing Care Face Moisturizer, for me it made the perfect pair.

Great Anti-Acne Cream
I used this at night. It made most of the small pimples on my chin disappear completely. It made the medium-sized pimples and my fungal acne pimples smaller as well. I recommend this product.

Very effective product
I highly recommend Effaclar Adapalene Retinoid Acne Gel. After 3 months of my teenage son religiously applying it to his face, all his acne were gone. This is a 100% very effective product. Don't stop if during the first month nothing happens... you will see the full effect in the third month onwards.

A little hesitant to use a retinoid that was not prescribed by dermatologist, so I used this very sparingly since I have sensitive skin. I didn’t do much since I was trying to be safe. It seemed to be ok & not make my skin too dry.

Great Retinoid!
I love this retinoid it has done my face justice along with the other products I received in this box.  I use this at night with the salicylic acid, acne serum, and spot treatment and together they are amazing! My face has cleared up so much and no more breakouts, blackheads, or whiteheads.

I used this product for a few days, once a day. I stopped using it because it left the feel of a sticky residue on my face. I also didn’t really have a great need for it — I used it on a few small problem areas, so I just didn’t feel like this product was a great fit for me.

Im not sure if it’s recommended to layer the retinoid and spot treatment but they’re bomb together!! Overnight my pimples have gone down and stopped me from picking it which leaves dark spots on my face.. will keep trying it out till it runs out!

Great treatment
This treatment due my skin being sensitive , the feeling was not pleasant , but did the job of removing my acne. And Just used on target areas, definitely would last for a bit, really would recommend for acne prone people.

I’ve been using adapalene for about 3 years now through my dermatologist and I recently stopped going so I love that there’s now an over the counter version of adapalene. The strength isn’t as strong but it’s the same product and I love this retinol!

I have to say I love this ointment . I actually use it daily now because I get so much acne on my face . My boyfriend also uses it and loves it . If you have acne I highly recommend trying this it makes your pimples go away within one to two days .

Great product but for not for dry skin
It is a great product, but not for oily dry skin. Maybe I was doing something wrong, but I used this product daily for a week and my skin got so irritated than no lotion could fix it. It was red and burning. Moving forward, I only will apply it on certain spots, not my entire face

I like the consistency, it’s like a jelly consistency. Not thick and does not burn. I would use every night and didn’t have any irritation.
